I’m Alison. I’m a certified spiritual director which means that I’m trained to listen and help you process anything connected to your spirituality. I think of spirituality as the sacred connections we have to ourselves, to others, to the land, and to a love bigger than it all which you might call God, the universe, or maybe don’t have a name for. Interconnection is our birthright and I believe it’s intended to serve as a powerful resource and source of strength  

However, I also know that this resource can be manipulated and abused by institutions, people, and theologies that seek power or control, leaving disconnection and pain in their wake. This grieves me deeply and motivates me in my work of spiritual care.  Everything I offer, from cohorts to one-on-one care, is designed to facilitate the repair of those sacred connections and deepen your experience of your own spirituality. I hope to expand our collective imagination of what’s possible when spirituality or faith truly springs from love and interconnection.

I want to acknowledge that because sometimes religious language itself can be activating, I’ve tried to make my website as neutral as possible in an effort to care for everyone who may visit. If I work with you, we’ll use your language and if we’re in a group setting, the language will always be inclusive.
